Windows 10: Ps3 controller recognized as a speaker

when i connected my controller to my laptop it didnt register as a controller but a.... speaker? i dont get it i dont know why cuz it was working perfectly fine untill i reconnected it its a ps3 controller and i used scp toolkit to manage it so the pc thinks its a xbox controller

ps3 controller won't register as a device

I used to be able to connect my ps3 controller to my laptop and it would work fine. Now, not only does it not work, but when I go into "devices and printers," windows 10 doesn't even recognize the controller as one of my devices anymore; it instead lists
the ps3 controller in the "unspecified" category. I don't know what changed, maybe I accidentally messed around with something and screwed it up but I would really appreciate any help I tried everything. Thanks!

PS3 controller

I tried connecting my PS3 controller to my pc using motioninjoy and better DS3 tool but I am not able to make my controller work although I could see it listed in 'devices and printers'.I would be very grateful if someone helps me figure this out.Thanks

Connect N900 to PS3 controller

I have seen on you tube how people have connected their ps3 controller to N900. (not using N900 as controller but playing games on N900 using the controller)

Can someone please guide me step by step how to connect the controller to N900.
