Windows 10: PS4 controller says it's connected, but it is not

    PS4 controller says it's connected, but it is not


    Recently re-installed FC24 only to find out that DS4 windows doesn't work with it anymore. Jumped through loopholes and installed inputmapper and XInput to no avail. Now the controllers dont show any hint of function even when it says they're connected.I've tried resetting both controllers and connecting them via Bluetooth and USB. If it's wireless, the controller flashes white, holds white when connected, then the light turns off. If it's USB, it flashes white then goes to the orange slow charging pulse. I'm not sure what to do from here, I haven't found any error messages anywhere to support

    PS4 Controller (bluetooth) connection issues

    My PS4 controller, which worked perfectly fine with my laptop until today, now won't connect properly. I try to connect the controller, and the controller just turns off. On my laptop it says the controller is connected, but the controller is obviously not.

    My drivers are all updated.

    I've already tried basic steps like restarting the computer.

    What should I do?

    Making it short story, so for a long time my ps4 controller connected with no issues but now it says Driver error. I tried looking for solutions but there was none. Please help.
