Windows 10: Ps4 DualShock controller showing up in Other devices instead of Inputs and not Working on...

I have been having this problem since i added a Bluetooth cable into my pc. The problem I face is whenever i start my computer it connects fine but if i disconnect it and try to reconnect my Ps4 controller then it would go into Other Devices instead of Inputs. I found a way to get through this by deleting Bluetooth device in device manager and then restarting my Pc. But the process is quite irritating and long. So i was wondering is there a permanent solution to this?

Try troubleshooting without the emulator. Uninstall and restart PC first.

How to force windows to forget my PS4 controller

Hi Dominique,

I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.

The Dualshock 4 remembers the last device you connected it to and will always try to reconnect to this device when you turn it on again.

To pair again with the PS4 you have to connect the controller to the PS4 using the USB cable.

If the pairing with the USB cable is not working you can reset the controller by pressing the button inside the hole on the back of the controller.

If you still want to remove the pairing on the computer (not needed after pairing back with PS4), you can do it on Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Select the three dots on the Dualshock device > Remove device
