    PS5 controller won't stay connected and hijacks audio output


    I have tried two different USB cables and two different ports on my PC. When I try to connect my PS5 controller it will disconnect my earbuds. The controller also can't stay connected. It constantly connects and disconnects every few seconds.

    Are you using an audio jack cable on the PS5 controller or a Bluetooth connection with the controller and headphone?

    Audio problem with PS5 controller

    I have a PS5 controller connected over bluetooth to my pc.

    If I connect my controller with a cable, this problem is no longer there.

    Over the course of using the controller, my bluetooth headphones don't work for 2s and then they come back.

    It's like the audio is going through my controller as if they are making a request, and don't leave the channel open for my headphones for the period of the request.

    No the jack on the PS5 controller is not being used.

    I have both dispositives connected via bluetooth to my computer.
