PSP9 No longer works on my Win 10 desktop

I use PSP9 all the time. Suddenly it stopped running after a Win 10update.

I uninstalled the program and tried another program, but I want my PSP back. When I try to install it again I get a message saying another installation is in progress but I cannot find it to cancel it.

I already rolled back to the original driver after advice online.

How do I stop or cancel an installation I cannot find?

Did the problem get fixed with PSP9? If so what did you do? Mine has experienced exactly the same problem in the last couple of days. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling, repairing. It gets stuck at the point of saying it is 'registering modules'.

I have tried following the advice about Dropbox disabling but absolutely nothing is working. It is very frustrating as I use PSP9 for a small home business and I get on very well with it for what I need. I don't want to pay out for a new package as I keep
hearing that Windows 10 doesn't allow many of the programs to run, so it may end up being money thrown away.

Thanks very much for this post. I faced the same problem with my long used PSP9. Mine was Intel 4400 and the role back of display driver resolved as well!
