    PUA:Win32/Presoaker coming up in Windows Security Scan


    Hello,So my computer did a virus scan on it's own today and it said there was a virus detected. I went in and looked under my "allowed threats" and it appears there's this one threat called PUA:Win32/Presoaker and it won't even let me click on the more information button to find out about this virus. Attached is just an image of the threat in the allowed threats section, this popped up a few days ago and it kinda has restricted my access to computer as it is, I don't have certain admin permissions and when I try and reset my PC it grays out the option to reset it, Please help me if you know an

    Thank you for the screenshot, Defend does not list the app it considers to be a PUA, the best option is to perform an offline scan with Defender, then download the free version of Malwarebytes and run a full scan with that, those scans should remove the PUA from your PC.

    Please confirm you don't have a list like this:

    e.g. from here (or via the control panel):

    If not, suggests deeper problems. To which uninstall option are you referring? (A picture is worth...)

    Yes that's exactly what I have. If you notice there is an uninstall option next to organize if you scroll to other updates ie. office, but it will disappear once you scroll to the latest updates.
