Windows 10: PUBLIC = WE

I could be wrong today, but not tomorrow.


If we need a better future for all; not just us but most importantly for our future generations to come, we need to think about EARTH we share. If anyone wants to post fake numbers or hack my laptops or cause harm, very confident, it will reverse back and harm that person. So, why not hack for a good reason, teach us how to improve technology, share with us how to protect our nation and the world not by attacking, by educating.



The university email, have not been able to get my account log in fixed yet. But it is ok. Who ever unethically accessed it won't benefit at all because hard copies and papers last forever. "I" never threatened anyone but my family and I have been threatened several times; "I" never hurt anyone and if I did, it would have been unintentional, learned a lot how one word can hurt and cause pain to others and when I realized, I apologized hoping those of you forgive me because when I said I'm really sorry, I meant it.


If anyone can be kind enough to let me know what conflict is there that I need to work on? I'm really overwhelmed by learning technology and different conflict information and messages left and right. I can't change who I'm, over trust people while protecting all; my excitement to make a positive change should be our excitement to make a positive change for all of US. "I" would never cross my limits, my respect to all from Homeless person to Presidents to Illuminate Group(s) to K.K.K. to Elite to all colors to Royals...etc. With all the knowledge I gained and still need, "I" will always ought it to all and will always be grateful.

Can't connect to certain public WiFi.

• Which Windows version is currently running on your phone?
• Are you able to connect your phone to other public WiFi hotspot?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

Duplicate Public Folders

Hope this helps someone identify the problem.

• Q: What happens when you delete the duplicate folders?
• A: Nothing. They're successfully deleted.

• Q: Does it happen to all of your folders or only those with pictures?
  • A: Only the default Public Folders (Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos).
  • A: All of the Public Folders have customized folder icons.
  • A: The above image shows yellow, empty folder icons (duplicates).

• Q: Any steps you've tried to troubleshoot this issue?
  • Actually, this has been a problem since Windows 7.
  • What I noticed then is that certain Windows programs created the duplicates:
    • Windows Media Player (stopped using)
    • Internet Explorer (stopped using)
    • Plus others, which I can't recall.
  • Only certain programs for Windows 10, as well:
    • Microsoft Edge (don't use it often)
      
    • Groove Music (never intentionally use it)
      
    • Plus others, which I haven't tracked.
      • I only notice it when I go to Public Folders.
      • By then, I've long since forgotten what was accessed.
  • I've googled for answers but most of those only address
    moving the Public Folders to another Drive.

 

Public Wifi connected, no internet access

Hi Sam,

As you are unable to access the public Wi-Fi on your laptop, do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Provide us additional information to assist you better with this issue:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• What is the complete error message/ error code of this issue?
• Were you able to connect to any other Wi-Fi connection from your laptop?

This issue might have occurred due to network adapter driver issues and network services. Let us try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to check if the Airplane mode is turned on. If so turn it off and check.

  Press Windows key, click on
  Settings from the left pane.

  Click on Network & Internet.
  
• 
  Under Airplane mode turn it off and check.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to check if
Network Adapter is enabled in Device Manager.

  Press Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Network Adapter.
  
• 
  Right click on adapter driver, click on Properties.
  
• 
  Click on Driver tab and Enable the driver.
  

Step 3: Run Network Adapter troubleshooter

Network Adapter troubleshooter find and fix the problems with wireless and other Network Adapter.

• 
  Click on Start; in the start search type
  Troubleshooter and hit Enter.
  
• 
  In the left pane, click on View all.
  
• 
  Click on Network Adapter Troubleshooter.
  
• 
  Select Advance and click on
  Run as Administrator.
  
• 
  Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
