Since yesterday Edge has been redirecting me to another search engine. This is due to a forced extension from an organisation i believe i have been enrolled into by a PUP, i unistalled a variety of things i have installed in the past few days and then followed the steps suggested by @_AW_ in the following link. how to stop edge from being managed by an organization - Microsoft CommunityThis removed the policy however i was still being redirected, i then unistalled and reinstalled edge and this problem seemed to be gone however an hour later it was back. A quick scan by Malwarebytes and Windows

  2. Bing search engine

Building on AddRam suggestion that something got installed, did you update / change AV products, update Flash or any other programs.

You might also go to malwarebytes.com and download and install Malwarebytes. Run a scan, it should detect anything doing a search redirect. (malware)

You might also head back to the page I suggested and click on restore default search engines. The box above it allows you to remove search engines. Just make sure only the search engine you want to remove is checked. Then remove it from Firefox.

    Changing search engines . . .

Hi, I am Van. I'll be glad to assist you today.

You will need to add the Yahoo search engine extension before setting it as the default search engine. Kindly follow the steps below.

    1. Open the Firefox browser then click the three-line menu at upper right corner of the browser then select "Add-ons and themes.

    2. Type "Yahoo search engine" without the quote in the search bar.

    3. Select "Search and New Tab by Yahoo" from the list then click the Add to Firefox button.

    4. Once done, go to the default search engine option. Yahoo should now be on the list.

    Best regards,

    Van
