Windows 10: PUR-InventoryNeverAugmented Encountered When Downloading Apps

When I try to download some applications through the Microsoft Store, I encounter the error message "PUR-InventoryNeverAugmented". This is only occurring for some applications, I'm able to download and install others without issue. I am an administrator on the network and so far have already tried the following:

• Resetting the Microsoft Store
• Running the following script in an elevated PowerShell : $manifest = Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore.InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest
• Running the Microsoft Store troubleshooting agent

The issue persists across multiple devices. The Microsoft Store does also say that my department owns the product and that it can be installed on my device.

Any ideas on how I can resolve this?

Hi, I've got a Work Account which I use to purchase Apps from the App store. I've got a new laptop but now it seems I get the error message "PUR-InventoryNeverAugmented" when I try to download Apps which I have already Installed. Thanks in advance for your

PUR-InventoryNeverAugmented (no Admin)

Today i am writing to inform your staff that i've been having a reoccurring problem. My laptop is used for school purposes so i do not have admin. I have an app i need to download to be able to message a fellow classmate. Whenever i go to download this it
shows that my school owns this app and i can install it. without a second thought i click "install" but then am presented with is statement. "PUR-InventoryNeverAugemented"

I require help with this and with me not having admin makes it harder for me to find a response that has been sent already by another one of your staff. Thanks in advance,

Try to fix your Microsoft Store App with this procedure:

Go to Settings > Update & security > Troubleshoot >Windows Store Apps >Run the troubleshooter

Try to download it again

If that didn't work

Reset the Microsoft store

Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > select Microsoft Store > Advance options > Reset

If issue persist I would suggest you to follow these methods:

Method 1: Re-register Microsoft Store app for Current User

1. Terminate the Microsoft Store app to make sure it's closed and not running.

2. Open PowerShell

3. Copy and paste the command below into PowerShell, and press Enter.

Get-AppXPackage *Microsoft.WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

4. When finished, you can close PowerShell, and try opening the Microsoft Store app again ..

Method 2: Re-register Microsoft Store app for All Users

You must be signed in as an administrator to be able to do this option.

1. Terminate the Microsoft Store app to make sure it's closed and not running.

2. Open an elevated PowerShell

3. Copy and paste the command below into the elevated PowerShell, and press Enter.

Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

4. When finished, close the elevated PowerShell,

5. Restart the computer to apply.

6. Try opening the Microsoft Store app again.
