Windows 10: Purchased a New Laptop w Windows Home in S Mode and Installed Windows 11 Pro Issue

Good afternoon community! I purchased a laptop two days ago for home and office use. It is an Asus Vivibook with pre-installed Windows 10 Home in S mode. Upon opening and starting up the laptop, I downloaded Windows 11 Pro from my volume licensing account. I installed Windows 11 Pro successfully. However, I tried installing printer drivers, Office software, and other needed applications but was not able to due to the laptop being in S mode. I then tried factory resetting the laptop due to not being able to install the other software. Every time I factory reset the laptop, it does not automatic

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Purchased windows 11 pro for laptop that died.

I purchased a new laptop and upgraded to windows 11 pro. the laptop display died so the unit was wiped clean and returned and replaced. Can I put that upgrade on my new laptop?

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
