Windows 10: Purchased a second hand computer

Hi there!I would just like to ask what are the best ways to go about this.I bought a second hand laptop and it came with Windows 10 Pro installed and activated. The previous owner purchased the laptop with an unactivated Windows 10. When I purchased it from him, he said he activated Windows 10 Pro on the laptop himself.I've started using it and I have three questions:1 Are there any security implications I should be aware of? For example, is it possible that he installed some kind of malware or spyware without my knowledge?2 I would like the "out-of-the-box" experience with this laptop - wha

Might I suggest you simply build a computer, making notes and taking pictures step by step. Most people (probably including your teacher) have no idea even where to start building a computer. You'll do fine, and if you get stuck we're here to help ya out! *Toast :toast:

Are you trying to purchase the app from Windows Store?



Try the below methods and check:

Method 1: I would suggest you to run the inbuilt app troubleshooter.

Follow the steps:

• 
  Press “Windows” + “X” and select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting and select View all on left hand side of the screen.
  
• 
  Select the App and follow the instruction to troubleshoot.
  

Method 2: I suggest you to follow the steps below to reset the Windows store:

• 
  Press the “Win Logo” + “R”
  
• 
  Type: WSReset.exe and press “Enter”.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.

Purchased a Second Hand server - Question about license

I have recently purchased a second hand server which came with a COA for Windows Server 2012 (Score).

The server's HDD was wiped clean and I am going to install an SSD and a few WD Purple's as it will be my NVR.

As for the license side of things, as I purchased the hardware which has a OEM License for Windows Server 2012 if I install Windows Server 2012 is there a possibility that this could be blocked by Microsoft as an unlicensed product?
