Windows 10: Purchased Minecraft as a gift to my Daughter, it has disappeared from her account.

Was working fine, on the old laptop. When installing and logging in on the new PC, it wants us to now purchase this again.Same email, same account - it just isn't there.

If you are new member then you can try their gift code just after login to your account. I did that and it worked.

Using a Microsoft gift card for purchases

I do get a method of payment option, but it does not list my Microsoft account. There is also a place for debit/credit/gift card payments, but my gift card number does not match the spaces needed.

Any other suggestions?

 

Minecraft useability

My daughter really wants to play Minecraft.

Situation: she has her own laptop and Microsoft account. And I expect to have an Xbox One soon.

• Can I purchase Minecraft games for her Microsoft account in a way that she can play it on her laptop and later on she can continue to play it on the Xbox under her account?
• Can I purchase Minecraft on the family account and share it for free among my family so everyone (my son, daughter, my wife, me) can play it on the Windows 10 laptops and XBox One?
