Windows 10: Purchased Minecraft for my child, but can't figure out how to transfer it to her account?

I purchased Minecraft on my login, on my child's computer. I've told it to download but nothing seems to happen. I'm now guessing it's because my child is logged in on their account vs. mine. Now I'm wondering if I can transfer the purchase to my child's account because I want it to show up there and be controlled through Microsoft Family Safety. We haven't used the game at all yet.

Purchased Minecraft items did not show up in Child's account.

Why didn't Minecraft items purchased with Child account not show up in the Child's account game, even though "real" money was spent???

There are several ways for you to purchase the game so your daughter can play it on her account. With your permission, you can change the account settings online and allow purchases on your child's account. Allow purchases on a child account, you may follow
the steps below:

• Log in to your Microsoft account on the
  Microsoft Family Page.
• Look for the Child account email address and click on
  More Options.
• Select Spending and click Change content restrictions to change the settings.
• Once the settings are changed, you can purchase the game using your child's account and download it on her computer.

Note Make sure that the
Xbox Live Service status is up and running before purchasing or managing the Xbox Live accounts online.

It looks like I got it working now though. And I was surprised at how painless it was.

All I did was add the child accounts to my profile, enable them for logging in on the computers they should have access to, and then had them log into their profiles.

I have already bought Minecraft for Windows 10 prior and when I went to the store to purchase it for one of the child accounts the store figured out that I have already bought it and just offered the INSTALL button.

Of course each child would still be using their own Microsoft accounts for the app though. But I am really pleased with how it went. Pretty painless, like everything else Windows 10
