Windows 10: Purchased new Acer A515-57-77XE, had multiple issues with Windows 11, made bootable USB...

Purchased an Acer Aspire A515-57-77XE with Windows 11 very recently, realized Windows 11 had issues, many that I either couldn't fix or couldn't handle the change and decided to drop back to Windows 10, made a boot-able thumb USB, installed Windows 10 22H2 without a hitch but quickly realized my sound was sort of running, but with exclamation marks errors beside all of the Device Manager's items related to sound and the sound driver, the entire sound system was running on the Windows 11 driver, but not really, or sometimes not at all like right now.There is no Windows 10 driver for anything

Multi-bootable USB

Hey guys from TPU, couldn't find any specific thread pertaining to the question asked on title. As mentioned, I'm trying to create a bootable USB, but with many specifics boots available.

I've been trying to create one with multiple boot device including one that enables me to run Windows 10 directly on the USB Thumb Drive but to no avail.

The list of bootable images i'm trying to create are

1. Windows 10 (A full OS running from thumb drive)
2. Windows 10 ISO (Bootable disk image for fresh install)
3. MemTest86+

Have tried YUMI or UUI from the website USB PenDrive Linux but as this is my first time, i don't know how am i screwing up or am doing it right.. Anyone got a rough idea on a step by step guide? Thanks!

 

Create Windows 11 Bootable USB on Mac with M1 Chip

One thing to note. You need to check the USB drive is functioning well and make sure that Windows 11 iso file you downloaded is from Microsoft website. An damaged Windows ISO file could also cause the USB to not be recognized as a bootable device.



If there is no problem with USB and ISO file, then go with UUByte ISO Editor instead. The above suggestions are free so you can try them first. UUByte ISO Editor is a free trial software but you can get a Windows 11 bootable USB installer in less than 20 minutes. From my past experience, UUByte ISO Editor is even better than Bootcamp and UNetbootin. It has no limitations, just 3 clicks (download, launch and burn) to get a bootable USB drive on your Mac.

Might this Acer laptop be dual-bootable?

This W10 Home laptop linked below comes with an inbuilt SSD drive as well as the capacity to internally mount an additional 2.5" SATA HDD.
A friend who's considering purchasing this device asked me if it would be possible to dual-boot from the secondary drive, if one was mounted.

I've had no experience with this type of laptop. Anyone able to comment?
