Windows 10: Purchased windows 11pro from Microsoft account still product key channel is showing Retail

Recently I purchased a laptop which doesn't have pre installed windows 11pro and so we purchased and installed which is original from the retail shop. My company wants me purchase from Microsoft Store, so we purchased windows 11pro which came with a product key and I have activated.The main concern is product key channel it is showing as retail but my company needs OEMM eventhough I purchased from Microsoft account why my product key channel is Retail. This may cause to reject my laptop for which I have spent around 60k+license 16k.Please help me to sort this issue, I'm in total critical spo

Purchased a Windows 10 Pro key from Microsoft but it shows OEM

It was purchased through Amazon and it shows that its by Microsoft. Amazon is a creditable retailer.

When I checked out, it gave me the product key and sent me to microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10 to create the install drive

As I noted above, the vbs scrpit shows;

Name: WIndows (R), professional edition

Description: Windows (R) Operating System, OEM_DM channel

Product Key Channel: OEMM

Licensed Status: Licensed

I just don’t understand why it’s not showing Retail, especially since I paid $189.99 fir it.

 

Windows 10 product keys and activation - and the KMS angle

Changing the product key to the generic Windows 10 product key will reset activation to the standard retail channel for activation. It might just activate (if there was a previous digital license for Windows 10 for that computer established with Microsoft). Once Windows 10 is back on the retail activation channel, then more than likely changing the product key to the Windows 8 product key using the same method may work.

I wanted to upgrade my Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro, so I purchased a Window 10 Pro Product Key directly from Microsoft.com. However, after I upgraded my computer and ran the VB script, it shows the following;

Name: WIndows (R), professional edition

Description: Windows (R) Operating System, OEM_DM channel

Product Key Channel: OEMM

I've tried calling Microsoft to get clarification but all I ever get is "We are currently experiencing high call volume and wait times are running 60-90 minutes". From what I've researched online, Microsoft does NOT support OEM product keys. Therefore,
why didn't they provide me with a "Retail" version, since I purchased it directly from them? Are they trying to get away with not supporting their customers anymore?
