Windows 10: Put Archive folder back in list of folders in Windows 10 Email App

In the Windows 10 Email app, I no longer see "Archive" in my list of folders. I suspect I deleted it somewhere along the line.


But now I cannot get it back. I created a folder called "Archive". But after I create it, the folder does not appear in the list. So it seems like the app is smart enough to know that I cannot create a folder with the name of a "system folder". But the app is not smart enough to give me a message telling me so.


Can anyone help me?

Archive an entire email folder in the Windows 10 mail app

I'm not sure what a pop\imap account is, but my email is provided by yahoo and I use the Windows 10 mail app to reach my email. My issue is that I have many subfolders in my email and some of them are no longer active, but I have to go through the list
anytime I want to reach an active folder. I would like to archive the non-active mail folders so that the list of active folders isn't quite as long.

I can archive and retrieve individual emails in the Windows 10 mail app - but is there a way to archive an entire email folder and is there a benefit to doing so?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
