  1. Putting my desktop to sleep with one key.

I had an old generic USB keyboard that had the little crescent moon icon beside the F12 key. In Windows 7 and 10, I press it and the computer goes to sleep. (Desktop, not laptop).

That keyboard was old, so I found a Sun Microsystems PC keyboard at a rummage sale. - Model 320-1366-03.

Yes, both keyboards are ivory. I find black keyboards suck as it reflects the glare from the monitors in the dark. Don't tell me to get a gamer glow keyboard. This is fine.

The new keyboard has the moon key but I can't get it to shut Windows down like the older keyboard.

I did some reading and I found lots of "Press the Windows key, then R, then S, then 8, then % then twirl three times, then yodel" instructions (sarcasm here).

I just want one hotkey I press to put it to sleep, without hitting 17 keys. I might as well simply use the mouse to say, Sleep!

There has to be a way to program a hotkey, press it once, zzzzz.

    Anyone figure this out?
