Once the PxHlpa64.sys driver is deleted and renamed, what happens to it and where does it go? Does it just stay in the same file folder location only as the differently named file with the

Jay,

From an Admin Command Prompt, run:

• reg export "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PxHlpa64" C:\PxHlpa64.reg
  

You should see the message "The operation completed successfully."

Then, run these two commands:

• sc.exe delete PxHlpa64
  

• ren C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\PxHlpa64.sys PxHlpa64.sys.old
  

Restart Windows. See if you can enable Memory Integrity.

 

Windows 11 memory integrity pxhlpa64.sys (DVD driver)

Running Windows 11 Home (21H2) on new HP laptop with an ASUS USB DVD driver.

Windows 11 installed driver, pxhlpa64.sys, is activated when I plug in the drive and I can use the drive normally. However, Windows turns off Memory Integrity complaining about pxhlpa64.sys not being compatible.

Neither ASUS nor HP have a USB DVD driver update since they use the 'installed' Windows 11 driver but Windows 11 memory integrity is not happy with its 'installed' driver, pxhlpa64.sys.

Is there a solution to this 'catch 22'?

I had two machines that had Memory Integrity problems.

There were about 4 or 5 files allegedly causing this problem.

I the Uninstalled KB5017026 update, and this cured the error.
