Windows 10: Q: How can I multiboot from a flash drive WITHOUT third party utils?

I was following this tutorial to create a thumb drive which holds an unattended setup of Windows 10:

Create bootable USB installer if install.wim is greater than 4GB

In brief, this method of creating a bootable flash drive gets around issues of having an install.wim larger than 4GB in size and takes advantage of the fact that Windows now allows the creation of multiple partitions on a flash drive.

I have multiple different install.wim files on my flash drive with names like install1.wim, install2.wim, etc. Before booting from my flash drive I rename the appropriate file to install.wim. Now, when I boot, unattended setup runs using the appropriate image file.

My question now is this: Now that it is possible to have multiple partitions on a flash drive, would it be possible to modify the steps in the above tutorial to allow me the ability to have one configuration with one Install Image on one partition, another configuration in a different partition, etc. and to have a boot menu to allow me to select which I want to boot?

Yes, I know that there are third party utilities to accomplish this but I'm just curious whether this can now be accomplished without third party utilities.

am i missing a step using the q flash utility as it says you can use a USB drive for this but q-flash doesn't recognise it. or do i need a floppy installed?
