Qcode 55 no display goes away after cold reboot

Not sure why this problem started happening just a few months after buying the computer bought it used. This error code usually occurs after i shut off and attempt to power back on later. Ive tried reinserting my ram 2 8gb visiontek ddr3 and while this provides a temporary fix im looking for a more permanent fix. Ive attempted to update and install new drivers but since im fairly new to computer software, im not confident i was installing the correct drivers. Any advice helps, thanks!Jæcob

    :)

Freeze, BSOD, Boot Loop then QCode 55

Hi guys, i wanna ask whether my cpu imc was dead or got corrupted bios (or perhaps my motherboard has bricked already).

Early symptom of this problem is my pc often fail to boot and got random bios error and i had to press reset button and force to reboot. after weeks that my pc got freeze and bsod. Then last night after complete shutdown my pc got boot loop and then won't boot with qcode 55. i had already clear cmos, swapped ram, install only one ram, reseated ram but with still no luck.

i have already reseated ram on a2 and b2 slot and got same result with qcode 55. i have a plan to rma and get this motherboard checked at asus service center jakarta. some say that this could be mobo fault and others say due bad imc cpu.

Asks for Passwords on Cold Boot / Reboot: Again, like dark theme by time, Android and iOS do this already, it's safer than allowing Windows Hello all the time. IIRC there is a Group Policy option for this(?), but this should be a function for all. Cheers. submitted by /u/loyukfai [link] [comments]...
