Windows 10: QTTabBar v1038 seems incompatible - v1029 ok

Hi, tried to install the latest QTTabBar, having used v1029, but found there was no 'QTTabBar' toolbar shown under Options in Explorer. That's needed to display the tabs initially. Two other QTTabBar toolbars were listed.

Eventually I found in Internet Explorer, Internet Options, Addons, that a number of QTTabBar addons were listed as incompatible.

When I reverted to version 1029, all was well.

Is there any way to change background image of a folder in Windows 10?

I know. I checked out QTTabbar, but it didn't seem to work. And will that work on other computers too? If I do that an a pendrive?

 

File Explorer turns back on after I close out of it once.

I tried to run this with the Command prompt and it said "Get-AppXPackage" is not recognized so I ran it in Powershell (Admin) instead, the process seems to have started and finished properly but it did not fix the issue.

I think this issue originated from when I uninstalled QTTabBar, a program that allows tabs in windows explorer but it did not function properly on windows 10 so I had to remove it.

 

QTTabBar is not working in 16232, it won't close a 'group', treats them as individual windows yet there is only one Taskbar thumbnail! *Confused

 

For those using QTTabBar and Windows Sets, Sets and QTTabBar play very nicely together!!!

For mouse users, you can customize alternative mouse clicks within QTTabBar, middle click, for instance, can be set to New Window, which translates to a New Tab in the current window in Sets!
