Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter is unable to see my Wi-Fi as it is a new gen 5G wireless modem, but it can still see others in the neighbourhood. After I first connected my 10 year old Asus laptop to the new modem it would often drop out and only a restart would pick up the connection, but now nothing. I've done all updates and even reset my laptop. I need a new adaptor or program that can update it. I had similar problem when connected to my smart TV and had to manually change a setting in it. This is a common problem with these new modems and older technology. do I need to p
