Windows 10: qualcomm atheros qca9377 not working in safe mode with networking

hi all, i am from India.

i bought a new dell laptop G3 15 3590 with windows 1903 preinstalled. under safe mode with networking, the wifi adapter qualcomm atheros qca9377 is not working; i navigated to the 'device manager' and found that it shows error code 37; the adapter is not visible in 'Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network Connections' either. WLAN Autoconfig service is enabled and running in 'safe mode with networking'. in normal mode all the symptoms are not there. i contacted dell india support i have a premium support plan till november 2020 and they say that the device is designed like that. in my mother's HP laptop, a different wifi adapter is present which works well in 'safe mode with networking' as well as normal mode.

i tried their suggestions - trying to turn on wifi from the lockscreen and using the netsh command in command prompt, but they did not work.


is what they are saying, true? or are they trying to cover it up? i asked them to confirm that all the laptops of this model which would be using the same model wifi adapter are facing the same problem. but they are saying that the adapter is working fine as per its design. what should i believe in? what are my options now? please enlighten me. expert suggestions are welcome. thanks in advance :

my qualcomm atheros qca9377 wireless network adapter is cannot be detected what should I do? When I am plug the cable, is connected properly but it cannot detect the wireless. I already update the adapter to the new one it still will happen. I also have
done the network reset but is still not working. Is that my wireless card problem or is other issue that will make this consequences

Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless adapter errors

Hi All,

I keep getting disconnected on my Wifi every 10mins or so since 23 Sep 2019. After some time, it would stop connecting. I have to manually go to the device manager and disable the "Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless adapter" and re-enable it to get it working.
Sometimes it works, other times it won't. If it doesn't, restarting the computer helps. I am pretty sure this is a short term solution.

I have updated the driver and troubleshooting mentioned that it is the latest version. Is there a bug or it is not compatible with the latest windows update.

Below are the information:

Windows version: 10.0.18362 build 18362

Laptop: Asus vivobook S14 X411UF

Wireless adapter: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless adapter

Wireless adapter version: 12.0.0.815

Any help is appreciated. This is getting immensely frustrating!
