Windows 10: Queries regarding Thermal paste application on Intel 12th Generation i3 processors

I have recently build a PC with an Asus Motherboard and an i3 12th generation processor and mounting it with a Deepcool AG400 Cooler . The setup went quite good with the processor showing 35 C a little later at the asus Bios temperature monitor. Prior while applying a thin line of Thermal paste on the processor supplied with the cooler and mounting the same there was a slight slid backwards, though aligning it immediately got me to fix the cooler correctly with some pressure and screewing it firmly...so would there would be issues later because of the slid ..? I can't see any of it spilling an

"New" 12th generation Intel Core i7-1255U not on "Windows 11 supported Intel processors" list

This seems like to prevents me from install Windows 11 22H2 patch 5017321 on my brand new Acer Aspire 5 Intel Core i7-1255U, that was OEM-preinstalled with Windows 11. After multiple attempt on Windows Update, no suggestion on new update appeared. Tried with "Windows Update Catalogue" but got a message that prevent install (Like: This installer not applicable for your device")

Note: I was able earlier via Windows Update to update earlier pacthes and drivers for this laptop but as mentioned above not the latest one.

Is the reason for my trouble the absent of "my "processor" in Windows 11 supported Intel processors list and will it be presented or newer on that list?

Strange, because "my" processor is has newer generation Intel Core i7 than what is on that list now.

Why DRM Crashes Games on 12th Gen Intel Processors

Summary
Temporary workaround for games with DRM software that can’t recognize 12th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor, causing games to crash or not load.

Description
Certain third-party gaming Digital Rights Management (DRM) software may incorrectly recognize 12th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors efficient-cores (E-cores) as another system. This prevents games implementing that DRM software from running successfully. Games may crash during launch or gameplay, or unexpectedly shut down.

Resolution
A software fix has been identified by the vendor of the affected DRM software and is being rolled out. Intel is working to accelerate this process as well. See the list of known affected games.

In addition, a workaround has been found to allow for games to launch and be played. The reference implementation for a Legacy Game Compatibility Mode will allow a user to dynamically place E-cores on standby when playing games.

Workaround steps for end-users to enable Legacy Game Compatibility Mode with affected games that have not received a software fix:

Power-up system and enter system BIOS setup.

Enable switch Legacy Game Compatibility Mode to ON (one-time only) in BIOS.

Save BIOS setup changes and exit.

Boot to OS.

Toggle Keyboard Scroll Lock key ON.

Launch affected game title.

Toggle Keyboard Scroll Lock key OFF after ending game title.
