Windows 10: Query about making a new user account

I have a main account (admin) which I use for most of my work stuff, but I've got a whole lot of private stuff like passwords and old videos and pictures from my childhood that i don't really want to be accessible in case i forget to lock my PC and one of my roommates was using the PC so I was thinking would it be possible to make another user account and just store all of the stuff on there? and obviously password protect it? this would definitely be really useful for me, i just need to know if it wouldn't be accessible from my main administrator account ?

Query about changing the User Accounts name

Hi Jerry,

Perform the steps mentioned below to change the user account name.

• Sign in to the Your info page on the Microsoft account website.
  
• 
  Under your name, select Edit name.
  If there’s no name listed yet, select Add name.
  
• Edit or add the name you want, then choose Save.
  Your Microsoft account name will start to appear or change everywhere you use it.
  

Please revert if you still cannot change the user account name.

Hi, I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 10. When I did that the existing user account came through nicely. I then activated Microsoft Mail. When I did that, my computer login changed. It is now "Customer Service" based on my MSN mail account and I
have to use that MSN password to login with. When I look in C:\Users I still see my old account there and it seems to be the only user there. Is there anyway to change that account back to the original name and the original password? thanks, Jerry

 

Anything is accessible from an admin account.

You need to setup two standard accounts - one that you keep your private stuff on and one you use routinely rather than admin account i.e. only use admin account for just that - admin.
