Windows 10: [Query]Prevent WiFi disconnecting while laptop sleeping

Hi, hope everyone doing fine, can someone please tell me how do I prevent my WiFi getting disconnected when my laptop (Dell XPS 13 9380) goes to sleep? I don't see any power management option in my WiFi adapter settings.
My Win 10 version is 20H2 (OS Build 19042.630)

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

Windows 10: prevent sleep mode from disconnecting wifi when copying files?

Hi All,

I'm actually having exactly same issue. I'm doing alot of work using VPN-connections and it is really annoying that every time my laptop sleeps, Wifi connection disconnects causing VPN to drop and forcing me to reconnect VPN (and wait to required VPNs SMS-autentication).

So, let me re-frame the question as simply as i can; is there anyway to prevent WiFi-connection to drop when my laptop sleeps (WiFi adapter is Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265).

In my opinion, there is no way to prevent this at WiFi adapter preperties.

 

WIFI disconnecting

My Wifi is on, but my laptop keeps disconnecting from my wifi. also, when my laptop goes to sleep and then wakeup the wifi does not even show the list of available networks. So after switching on the airplane mode and then turning it back off, the wifi
networks are listed but either it does not connect to my network or if it does, it gets disconnected as soon as I open any tab .
I have tried troubleshooting, reinstalling wifi drivers, but nothing seems to fix it.
This started after windows updated a few weeks back.
please help
