Windows 10: Ques. about getting /switching to "Windows 10 Mail Application"?

I think I have Windows 10, but looking on my desktop I see nothing like "Office 365", just quite a few other Office items like "Word", Powerpoint, etc which is about all I have ever used.


So, if I have NO "Office 365" that I can see/find in my Windows 10, then does that mean that the "Windows 10 Mail Application" is not included not automatically available to me - that i would have to BUY "Office 365" or BUY the "Windows Mail Application", that I would have to PAY something in order to get the "Windows Mail Application ?


Maybe I should have this clarified as well?? ... that the "Windows 10 Mail Application" if I am understanding correctly, is "a thing of itself" and is NOT the same thing as "Outlook". : I sigh

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

• When you say that "but cant switch that account in the app (the original account is listed as an outlook account", what exactly are you referring to?
  
• What are the troubleshooting steps which you have performed to resolve the issue?

Original Title: WIndows 10 Mail application

When I switched to Windows 10 I started to use the mail application that came installed with it. I went to use my primary email but could not get it to sync with any of the severs they cable company listed (imap.cox.net, pop.cox.net, smtp.cox.net). I tried
to switch to an outlook account email, but cant switch that account in the app (the original account is listed as an outlook account, not sure why) or even just delete it and add the outlook account.
