Windows 10: Question about 24H2 update, has it changed the way the network adaptor connects to the...

In the 24H2 update, does it change the way the network adaptor connects to the network on bootup/login? Here is my issue, prior to updating to 24H2 when my laptop would boot up and come to the login screen. It would already be connected to the wireless and all my widgets would work. I would login and as the rest of my programs booted my PC would already be on the network. The little network icon by the clock would show connected to the wireless. Now since the update that is no longer the case. when the PC boots to the login screen it says not connected to the network. I have to leave it sit fo

You may follow the steps provided below and check if it helps to resolve the issue

Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter

Method 2: Try updating the latest Network Adapter drivers from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

  Follow the steps to update the Network Adapter drivers:
  
• 
  Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Network Adapter.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Ethernet and click on Update driver software.

  Restart the computer and check.
  

For games I suggest you to disable the proxy settings and then try to download the games.

Missing adaptors in 'Network Connections'

Resetting Network Adaptor

A question that was asked before but wasn't answered properly.
How do I RESET my network adaptor? I don't want to uninstall and reinstall. I just want to reset. When I get the little exclamation mark on my WiFi signal connection, 9 times out of 10 it just does a network adaptor reset. 99 times out of 100, I can
fix it by pulling out the adaptor and reinserting it. Sometimes there will be a connection, but it would be slow and pulling out and reinserting the adaptor has helped. Is there a way of resetting that is as easy as
right click on the WiFi signal and selecting an option of "Reset Network Adaptor" (ideal world but this is Microsoft so nothing could be that easy)? Is it possible that someone could please suggest to someone about
installing such an option?
