Windows 10: Question about Cortana: Weather and Location Reporting

How do I set Cortana to automatically detect my weather location?

She has asked me to enter my City for weather locations.

But, I want her to automatically detect my location instead of me having to do it by putting in my city.

Cortana shows incorrect location.

So with all of us asking the same question why isn't it fixed or at least addressed?

If you ask Cortana specifically i.e., "What is the weather in Pittsburgh?", then she will give you the correct weather report. The location function is a joke.

 

Cortana not using default location!

Hi. Thankyou for reading my question.

My problem: When I say "weather" to Cortana it is bringing up a place about 100k's from me but if I type in weather and click on the app it brings up my default location.

Steps I have taken.

1: Set default location in windows

2: Set default location in weather

3: cleared location history

4: Turned on location service and general location.

5: Turned on maps/weather to being able to use precise location.

6: restarted computer.

7: Changed location settings in Bing account

Still when I say to cortana "weather" it is saying a suburb about 100k's away but if I go in to the weather app it is the correct location.

(I'm talking about the small bit of information Cortana gives when you just say "weather". )

If you decide to help thankyou in advance, I tried to look up other guides and follow the steps to get it working so you don't have to waste your time going over anything thats been covered too many times in the past.

1.) Be sure your Location is set On in Settings:




2.) Click the Notebook icon in Cortana:



3.) Enable Nearby Forecast:



4.) Cortana will now show the weather forecast for your current location:

 

Thanks Kari. It keeps asking for my city. My Laptop automatically detects my location. Why isn't my Desktop doing it? Below is the screenshot of what I am talking about.
