Windows 10: Question about disabling updates?

So I disabled updates after hearing all issues with november updates, until the 16th of december. I'm currently on 1903 ? And no issue but hear 1909 is a mess should I enable after new update is out after 1909

You can disable the startup programs so that it will not start up when you turn the system on.

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    Press Windows Logo Key+X. Click on Run.

    Type msconfig. Click OK.
    
  • 
    Click on Startup. Click on Open Task Manager.
    
  • 
    Select the program and click on Disable.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
