Windows 10: [QUESTION] About microsoft web account sync

Hi,Can someone to explain me exactly what is the purpose of sync option from microsoft account? I switched on/off and i don't see something different. I already have account sync enabled in windows and in microsoft edge. Let's say, if i disable sync option from website, in windows will be still active, so they are different. They are not the same, windows sync with microsoft account sync with edge profile sync. Why so many things if all are the same?

Microsoft Account not syncing WP8.1

Hi Michael,

We suggest that you manually sync your Microsoft account by following these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Tap email + accounts.
• Tap and hold your Microsoft account.
• Tap sync.

Check also if you have the correct date and time set on your phone.

Not sure what else to suggest but since you mentioned it, try variations of the sync settings on your W8.1 phone. It is just possible that this is causing some confusion with your Microsoft account and the W10 settings.
