    Question about popup window that asks to finish setting up my computer


    My computer was having serious issues, and a local tech company reset Windows 10 back to version 1903 to get rid of the issue of a super slow startup. So my computer upgraded itself to Windows 10, version 20H2. I got a popup window that asks to finish setting up my computer. I'm able to put it off for 3 days with the "remind me in 3 days" option, but I don't think I should do this indefinitely. One of the categories says it can connect the computer to my mobile phone, and another mentions something about a trial version of Office 365...there are a few other categories. Can I opt out of all

    Stop Windows 10 from asking to link phone to computer

    • In Settings, navigate to System > Notifications & actions.
    • Scroll and look for ‘Suggest ways I can finish setting up my device to get the most out of Windows’
    • Uncheck this option and the notification will not show up again.

    Please list the complete steps to finish doing this, so I don't have to ask each time. *Smile Question about popup window that asks to finish setting up my computer :)

    And just a question, why am I doing this in the first place? Will it benefit me?
