    Question about Start Menu

    After the upgrade to Fall Creators Update, I see some Apps in the All Apps Menu displaying the Nueva (Means New) label next to some Apps and folders. None of the Apps or folders are really new, they being there for a while. The label kind of bothers me and I would like to get rid of it.

    With other W10 versions the times I seen the New label, it has gone away soon after I seen them. But apparently, the label are staying put now. I rebooted and turned off he laptop a few times after the upgrade and the labels are still around.

    Under Settings>Personalization>Start, I uncheck setting "Show recently added apps". Any ideas? *Smile

    Question about Start Menu settings on workstations

    Hi,

    we use a local network, where there is Windows 12 Server on the server and Windows 10 on the workstations.

    Our users edit their own Start-menus, in particular they choose own Windows-apps (News, Maps..) in Start-menu.

    In which folder are saved settings for right part of the Start-menu?

    Do these settings moved from computer to computer in keys if profile is roaming? We can't get it working.

    Does the locked screen backround belong to the user profile?

    We use the mahdatory profile for our guests. When we log on the computer using mandatory user profile, the new Windows applications on the right side of the Start-menu don't show at all, and they can not be opened elsewhere either.
    Is it possible to tune Start-menu for mandatory profile in advance, to the end that user can use windows-apps, but can't change right part of Start-menu?

    Thank you

    Question about Start Menu

    @bo elam

    Expand the folder, right click on any item that has the 'New' moniker under it, they should disappear.
