Windows 10: Question about Windows Custom Themes

I have a question about custom windows 10 themes using UxThemePatcher. So I want a flat dark theme and downloaded a few I really like. Everything is perfect BUT every theme deactivate the tabs in windows explorer. The tabs on top where you can quickly change the view and other Explorer settings (I hope you know what I mean).

Is there a way to reactivate that?

Is there a way to set up a customized theme in Windows 10 like there was in Windows 8.1?

Customizing Themes

Yes you can create your own themes if that is what you are asking.

We do this at our office for our corp image. Create a theme and desktop image then capture that image and reuse it.

Theme settings

Hi Peter,

In Creators Update, you can now customize Windows Themes using the Settings app and get new ones from the Windows Store. Additionally, it also includes an option to set a custom accent color, instead of having to choose from a limited list of predefined
colors. To further rectify your concern, follow these steps to get into your Themes settings:

• Press Windows key + I.
• Click Personalization.
• You will find Themes located at the left side of Personalization options.
