Though not as serious as burglary in the first degree, including home invasion, I'm sure someone doing anything without my consent with my PC would be extremely harmful and exasperating to say the least.

Num Lock won't work for 10-key

We understand your concern in this regard.

• You mean to say, Num Lock key won't work or Numeric keypad won't work?
• Did you try connecting external keyboard?
• Is that onscreen keyboard shows the same behavior?
• When you press Num Lock key, will the Num Lock light key glows on the keyboard?

Let us know these things to analyze the issue and guide you accordingly.

Hi Harshavardhan Rathod and thanks for answering me.

I do not need a feedback on a key stroke.

I do need a feedback on the status of a numeric keypad.

I need to know if that numeric keypad is toggled as cursor arrows or as number input.

If you write:

"there may be no option to visualize the Num Lock on the screen."

Should I still hope that "maybe" there is?

"maybe" somewhere else?

Num Lock is not working!

Following recent Windows 10 update the Num Lock function does not work properly.

Here are the results of tests.

Keypad Number Lock Actions

1 Numeric Lock ON.

Key '5' and 'Dot' jump down and right with a small faint table listing,

"cut, copy paste, paragraph and lists options"

2. Numeric Lock OFF:

All none numeric keys function correctly. None of the digit keys respond.

/, *, Home, Up arrow, PgUp, Left arrow, Right arrow, End, Down arrow, Pg Dn, Ins, Del.

Num Lock Key will correctly shift back to Number mode

3. Standard number keys over QWERTY work correctly.

4. A new keyboard of same manufacture also had the same problem. Logitech K330 and K360.

I checked the keyboard drivers and nothing showed error.

Does anyone know what is causing this?
