  1. Question: Control windows 10 clipboard with keyboard

So as you might know, you can access your clipboard by pressing WIN + V.
So far so good, I like this feature. But my question is:
Is there any way I can select any of the item with my keyboard or do I always need to switch to my mouse or trackpad to do so? (which is really annoying and quite a break in workflow if you're writing a text etc.)

    Thanks

  2. How can I get rid of the "clipboard" icon on my keyboard?

    Hi, Merle Be.

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community.

You may follow these steps to remove the clipboard icon on your keyboard:

    1. Under your App list, go to Settings.

    2. Tap keyboard under Settings.

    3. Tap the keyboard that you are using.

    4. Uncheck the "Suggest text".

    5. Try copying something again and paste it.

    6. Lock the screen and reopen it, then check the clipboard icon on the keyboard if it's still showing.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted for further assistance.

    Regards.

  3. win 10 laptop Keyboard Controls.

    Hi,

To assist you better please provide us few details,

              • What is the make and model of your computer?

              • Did you update the driver for the keyboard?

              • Are you facing any other issue with the keyboard?

I would suggest you to follow these steps and try to run the Hardware troubleshooter:

    • Press Windows key + X on the keyboard.
    • Click on Control panel.
    • Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes in the Control panel
      search box.
    • Click on Troubleshooting and click on View all.
    • Click on Hardware and Devices troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

If the issue still persists, Uninstall and Reinstall the Keyboard Drivers.

    Uninstall the Keyboard Drivers

    • Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.

    • Click on “Device Manager” from that list.

    • Search for the Keyboard from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select
that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.

Hope this information helps. Please get back with more details we are glad to help you.

    Thank you.

Question: Control windows 10 clipboard with keyboard

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:
    • Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
    • Try different keyboard or mouse.
    • Restart computer, repeatedly.
    • Google for related issues.
    • Update Bios, because why not.
    • Create boot media and revert to windows 7.
The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.
