Windows 10: Question for a friend... Whenever they try to open up certain games on their device it...

They were trying to open a game on steam when it first happened and it came up with the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2022 X64 Minimum Runtime" error and it said to either click Ok or to enter a alternate path for the "installation package" which had a source under where it asked to enter a alternate path but when they tried to enter a alternate path using the browse button it would come up with another error saying the source that was in the Use source cannot be found so if anyone knows what the issue may be and how to fix it please respond it would be greatly appreciated.We have tried to uninstall t

• Please specify the game you are having issue with?
• Are you getting any error messages while opening the game?
• Also, did you download the game from windows Store?

For workaround, I would suggest you to follow the below steps and see if the issue can be resolved.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search next to start on the desktop.
  
• Click on View All on left side and select Windows Store Apps.

To increase Hardware Acceleration follow the steps below:

• 1. Open Display Settings by clicking the

  Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking
  Display Settings.
• 2. Click Advanced Settings, click the
  Troubleshoot tab, and then click Change settings. Note that some video card drivers do not permit you to change settings.
• 3. Move the Hardware acceleration slider to increase it.

Step 2: I would suggest you to update your graphic card drivers and check if it helps.

You can update drivers from the Device Manager.
