Windows 10: Question for Windows 11 requirements.

So, the other day I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad U430 Touch laptop from a thrift store with the sole purpose to set it up as a school/work computer. After wiping the device clean, I checked out its specs and thought "Maybe I could get Windows 11 up and running on this thing." But first I decided to check what the PC Health Check app would say, and it said that my processor wasn't supported. The processor is a Intel core I5-4210 1.70 GHz and it looks like it meets all the minimum requirements for Windows 11, It's just not on the list. I was just wondering if it would ever be added to the list and if

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Windows 11 Upgrade Processor Requirements

I run Windows 10 on my desktop PC. My processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz, but it is not on the list of acceptable processors for Windows 11. I should like to know why this processor does not meet the Windows 11 requirements as, having read the published processor data requirements for Windows 11, my processor should be fine.
