Windows 10: Question Mark key configuration seems to be CTRL, and I can't change it back.

My question mark key configuration changed randomly whilst I was typing, and I cannot change it back to a question mark. Neither the question mark, or the slash key work now, as they're on the same key. Instead, the on-screen keyboard indicated the CTRL keys were highlighted, and the text cursor jumps back to the previous word.


I have tried re-setting my language options. I completed a Windows System Restore. I have run a troubleshoot, which cannot find anything wrong with my keyboard. I have uninstalled my keyboard, and reinstalled it. I have downloaded and subsequently made my own keyboard configuration from an app, and installed this keyboard configuration to my computer. Nothing works. Any ideas anyone question mark.

How do I get my question mark back

I`ve been using Windows 10 for just over a month now with no issues, then a few days ago this suddenly happened.

I`m not exactly sure what caused/is causing this, but my question mark key now yields me a É, as well other shift to access keys , like my at symbol is now this " my number sign is now / my slash key is a é. I haven`t explored them all but you get the picture.
All my searches on the internet pertain to previous versions of windows and don`t work for me on windows 10. Although holding down the left Ctrl + Shift keys seems to correct some of these issues for a while, the shift 2 and 3 keys quickly revert back to
" and / while the question mark, / key always stays É é.

Sometimes when I open a new program (like Word) the few corrections that holding down the Ctrl + Shift has fixed revert back to this seemingly new default.

Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

Method 1: To check if Ctrl keys work in Onscreen keyboard.

• Press Windows Key + R and type osk and hit Enter.

Try using Ctrl keys and check if that helps.

if you still face the issue, try Method 2.

Method 2: Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X, select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

sorry for the silly question...I can't seem to find the question mark (nor the exclamation mark for that matter) on the keyboad of my touch screen device (windows mobile 6) thank you best regards Teresa
