    Question on reinstalling windows


    Currently, I have an SSD dedicated to the OS (Win 10 x64) that has 3 partitions UEFI (FAT32 260MB), Windows and a recovery partition with the 1st and last not visible in explorer and without any assigned driver letters on my HP laptop. The UEFI partition has HP UEFI utilities installed (and what else i do not know) I intend to reformat the disk and reinstall Windows Will my UEFI partition be built back again when i clean install Windows and will it be of same size or is a UEFI partition a factory pre-installed (hidden) partition or should i build back the partitions with their current size and fiel system before i clean install? Will i be able to reinstall the HP utilities to that drive again Thank you

    Reinstall System Image Question –
    When saving a system image in Windows 10, it saves it as “Windows Image Backup.” I then add the date to the listing and save it. Therefore, I have a list of backups that read like “Windows Image Backup 9-4-19.”
    So, this is my question.
    If I need to reinstall my system image, does Windows allow me to choose any of the backups in my list to reinstall?

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
