  1. Question on Windows 11 Pro and SSD Storage

Hello,I'm on a limited budget, and I would like to buy a Thinkpad X1 Nano. I found one that is both new and costs a lot less than other X1 Nanos. I can see that its processor is older, but that doesn't bother me; however, its SSD storage is only 256 GB please see specs below. Is that too little for Windows 11 Pro? Or will it become an issue if I do factory restores on the laptop? Is the 16GB of memory also too little? My neighbor said not to buy anything less than 512 GB with Windows 11 because the operating system takes up a lot of space, but the price of the 512 Nano is more than I can affo

    :)

    Storage/SSD question...

Well im about to make the jump to using multiple drives on my rigg.

I am currently using a 1tb hd for my OS and everything. My Question is what would be the right way to set up a SSD for my OS and have the 1tb for storage? What size SSD should I use for WIN 7 PRO and my Games? Sorry like the title says, im new with the whole multiple drives useing the same OS thing.

  3. Windows Install - Can’t find SSD driver

I’m trying to install Windows on an Asus Zenbook Q409. When I get to the step to select the storage device and partitions, there are no storage devices listed, but it gives the option to browse for drivers. I confirmed that the SSD is functioning as it is listed in both the UEFI and works fine in an Ubuntu live boot. The SSD is a WD SN 735. When I search for this SSD the closest result I get is a SN730. Where can I find the driver for the WD SN735?

I’ve tried this with both Windows 10 and 11 bootable USBs.

  4. Question on Windows 11 Pro and SSD Storage

    Questions about Windows 11

Instead of making a new post along the same lines, I will ask the question here. I have a Lenovo T440s which is running windows 10 pro, that has the fourth gen i5 processor, which microsoft lists as not being able to run Windows 11.... I am considering maybe using the Rufus usb tool to install windows 11 on it. The question is, is it worth installing windows 11 pro, being unsupported or sticking with windows 10 pro?
