Windows 10: Question re navigating between windows

This is a basic question, but I switched from a Mac to PC about a year ago and am still bothered by some of the features of Windows. On a Mac, if you click with your cursor from one windows to another then the window that you click on is brought to the front, and that is all. No texts, links, etc., are selected no matter where you click, because the window up until that moment is not active. On Windows, the window that you click on is brought to the front but the cursor also functions as though the window was already active, and it selects any links or other features that your cursor happened to be over. I find myself constantly frustrated by searching around for areas on a deactivated window where I can click without moving my text cursor or opening a link or opening a new email or pausing a YouTube video, etc. When I click on a window that's behind my active window, I just want to bring it to the front without interacting with it in any other way because it wastes a lot of time going back to where I was or searching for places on windows where I can click without activating anything. I can't find a setting to do this and am curious if it exists on PCs running Windows 10. Thanks!

GPS Navigation device

Didn't really know how else i could call this topic, this should do i hope.

Back to question on hand - my dad bought a navigation (cheap one since in my country branded gps navigation devices cost way too much) and it is powered by Windows Embedded CE 6.0
At some point i decided to upgrade the navigation software/maps and was unable to as naviextras toolbox doesn't recognize my device at all, and to top it all it isn't even listed as a supported one.
Either way i managed to get new software/maps. The only question i wasn't able to resolve is how can configure windows embedded ce 6.0 ?

Thanks in advance. Any info is appreciated.

How to get horiz scrolling in Navigation Pane in Win 10 Explorer

Welcome to TenForums @linuxgarou

One suggestion would be to hover the mouse over the dividing line between the navigation pane and the list of files (it's the right-hand edge of the navigation pane's vertical scroll bar). When the pointer becomes a double-headed arrow you can click-and-drag to make the navigation pane wider.

I have mine set to about twice the width of the one in your screenshot.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
