Windows 10: Question Regarding OEM_DM Channel.

I have a laptop that had windows 11 pre-installed. Once my windows 11 got corrupt, in anger i deleted my microsoft account that i was logged in while i was using windows. I was using linux for some time. Now i want to come back to windows. Do i need to buy a new windows license or the OEM_DM Channel will activate my windows 11 irrespective of the microsoft account i use now.

Hello, I was wondering if OEM_DM type activation key on THIS computer and reactivate it again using the code or logging into Microsoft back into the computer. I've read that I can't activate the keys on other computers, but it doesn't say anything about
reactivating it on the same computer. Please help!

 

Questions regarding sysprep and capture in MDT

I have a question regarding the sysprep and capture function in MDT 2013.

I have done a sysprep & capture on a Windows 10x64 machine with software and drivers included using MDT.

So the next step I did was to deploy the captured .iso file onto a new machine which had the usual configuration steps including setting up the computer name, timezone and keyboard layout etc and everything was start up fine and all the software and drivers were also configured & installed properly.

However, the issue is that machine's SID and computer name were completely the same as the one I ran the sysprep & capture on. Was this supposed to be like this? Because I did some research and a sysprep is supposed to change the SID as it is treated as a new machine. Also, I did configure a new computer name for the machine during the deployment setup but I have no idea why its the same name as the other machine.
I would appreciate any answers given. Thank you.

 

Activate OEM_DM laptop using retail disk

hi... my laptop come with Win 10 Pro OEM_DM which is digital license. hdd now spoilt. i buy new SSD but don't have OEM disk to reinstall. i download Windows 10 ISO from MS website, after clean install on SSD, check it is Windows 10 Pro Retail. my question, is that legal to activate the retail installation to OEM_DM laptop? and yes, the activation is successfull, i just want to know if that is legal? tq
