Windows 10: Questions related to Windows XP

I have a bunch of questions actually that have been building up. 1. What does it mean when I am logging off my home computer windows XP and it says "warning someone else is using this computer?" Is someone actually using my computer remotely because I am the only one here? Is such a thing possible?2. Also, can someone hack into my windows XP computer even though I do not have it connected to the internet? I do have a laptop that sits fairly close to it though. I was just wondering if such a thing was possible. 3. If someone gains access to my IP can they use that IP to hack into various devi

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

This is a question about transfering photos from Windows 8 phone to Windows XP desktop. I have windows 8 on Nokia Lumia 822 phone. I have windows XP on 7-yr old Dell desktop. I believe the only way to move files might be with cable connection between ph
& desktop, & using Windows Explorer on desktop. But XP does not recognize the phone, so I can't use Explorer to move the files. I have tried downloading related software from Microsoft; I believe my desktop is too old to use any software tools. I have tried
using Control Panel / Add Hardware / Add Harware Wizard. The wizard shows the Lumia on the list of devices. When I go through the steps offered by the Wizard, it ends with "Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this harware but cannot find the
hardware device (Code 41)". Why does the wizard show the Lumia on list & say it can't find it? The photos are stored on an SD card in the phone. I assume that I can remove the SD card, insert card in reader, connect reader to desktop by USB cable, & move
from card to desktop using Windows Explorer. But this seems more cumbersome that it should be. Is SkyDrive an option? I believe my desktop is too old to work directly with SkyDrive. Somehow I have impression it may be possible to work with SkyDrive indirectly
through IE. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to help my desktop see my phone. Does anyone have any suggestions about workarounds.

ah! lol. I selected xp from a list and thought that was all that was needed, turns out its just suggesting settings based on the selection. I'll just read up on this. I'm rushing into it without much thought here.

ya I'm an idiot dude. I thought this would be like the windows mobile emulator in visual studio where everything is loaded already for you. I dont exactly have an xp disc laying around here at work lol.

I'll just have to play with it when I get home.
