Windows 10: Quick Access List Not Showing in Windows 11 Home Navigation Pane - Since 2H22 Update

Hi MS Community,I've been using Windows 11 Home and ever since I updated to the latest Windows 11 2H22 Update,My Quick Access Panel is completely missing, even under the new Home Navigation Page it isn't visible at all, and I can't find it anywhere in the settings and have tried several methods with no luck.I've attached 2 images below showing my problem, i The first, is a screenshot of my current Home Page and how it looks I've blurred out any personal info/filesii The second, is an image of what my Home Page is supposed to look like according to Microsoft and other Windows 11 Home users

Quick Access not showing in navigation pane since Windows 11 update

I updated to the latest version of Windows 11 yesterday. When I opened File Explorer, Quick access and recent files/folders were showing to the right of the window, but the Quick Access folder option was missing from the navigation panel on the left. So if I click away from this Window I've lost Quick Access. How do I re-enable Quick Access to the left part of the navigation pane?

Please look at the screenshot before replying. Quick Access is enabled in view mode options and can be seen, but is missing from the left side of the navigation pane.

Hmmm, so I was being a bit slow on the uptake!

It appears that in the latest Windows 11 release, Quick Access in the left navigation pane has been removed as a folder in its own right.

If you want to access recently used files and folders, Quick Access is now found by clicking the Home option in the navigation pane.

Once again Microsoft makes things less clear and fixes something which wasn't broken.

 

Remove Quick access from Navigation Pane in Windows 10  


I followed the steps in the this tutorial and was able to remove the Quick Access feature from the navigation pane of Windows Explorer - thanks for this.

However, the Quick Access feature can still be seen in the navigation pane of the save dialog explorer when trying to save a file from a web browser, for example. Do you have any tips on how to remove the Quick Access feature from this location as well?
