Windows 10: Quick Assist opens remote desktop view in a small window

When offering assistance the view window that opens is quite small. I see the full remote desktop, but the local window is small and the maximize button is greyed out. if I close Quick Assist session and reopen Quick Assist and get the remote user to restart Quick Assist the local quick assist window will resize to show the remote desktop in a usable window that can be maximized. I realize the being I have a larger resolution screen that I do not get true full screen, but the remote desktop is now a size that I can read and work with.Why does it work on second session, but not first. Even when

Quick Assist and Remote Desktop/Remote Assistance

I have Windows 10 Pro Anniversary Edition. I know that Quick Assist is an app in the Operating System. Does anyone know whether you can help someone who is running an earlier version of Windows that has Remote Assistance or Remote Desktop by using Quick
Assist? I know Quick Assist works similarly to Remote Desktop, but is available on all editions of Windows 10. I am a Certified PC Service and Repair Tech and I know how the apps/programs work- but are they compatible and can I help someone with an earlier
version of Windows.

Also, my friend has run into the Validation Key problem. He says he does not have one. Any help there would be appreciated.
