    Can you just put a "one click" shortcut to a program like this on your Desktop?

    A simple program to create System Restore Points.

    It seemed to create a restore point on my Windows 10 PRO 64-bit.

    There is also something like this just to open System Restore quickly but not to create anything.

    Automatic restore points not working

    Hi,

    Be sure your settings are correct for making a Restore Point manually.

    Right Click the Start - Button - Control Panel - System - on left Advanced System Settings - System Protection tab - System Restore. Be sure they are ON and set as you wish.

    This advice is in addition setting up Task Manager.
