Windows 10: Quick scan on yellow alert action recommended

A yellow icon showing saying icon recommended I tried to click quick scan but it won't end. I don't know why.

I have an issue with my PC , I click the yellow alert saying that action is recommended. It runs quick scan but it takes forever to finish. What to do?

When did the issue started? Are there any recent changes made on the computer before the issue started?

Kindly try to perform a scan on your windows using a different anti-malware scanner to ensure that the windows does not have any active malwares which may be causing the issue on the windows security.

After the scan completes, kindly try to reset the Windows Security Settings on your windows to refresh the App

Using the Cortana Search box, search for windows security

Right click on the Windows Security result on the Cortana search

Select App Settings

Scroll down and select Reset

Wait for the reset to complete

Restart the computer and check if the same issue appears
