    Quicken Deluxe and Windows 11 Upgrade / Update


    As with any new software there are expected conflicts.Quicken was working well and then the latest update caused conflicts.There are issues with backing up the file from Quicken and Attached items from Clipboard. After chatting and screen sharing, Quicken proposed that I address MS about their update.I have searched online to see if anyone else is experiencing this conflict.Haven't found it.If you know how to fix this, Please advise.

    Installing Quicken Deluxe

    I had Quicken basic installed on this PC before upgrading to Windows 10, and it migrated completely following the install. I recently purchased Quicken Deluxe 2015, and I get an error message(1608?) stating the destination folder does not have permission
    to install this. The new version has already deleted the old Quicken. How do I resolve this?

    • Are you logged in using local account or Microsoft Account?

    • Do you receive any error code along with the error message?


    If you are using a local account, I suggest you to log in using a Microsoft Account and check if it resolves the issue.



    If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall Quicken Deluxe 2016 and check if it helps.
