    Quickie Question - Can I remove...


    On the evening of July 28th, while working on some other issue, Microsoft tech support, "upgraded" my Win 10 Home 1909 to Win 10 Home 2004. (downloaded ISO, mounted it, and ran it from there). Afterwards, we ran Disk Cleanup in Advanced mode and it removed most of the leftover crap.

    Only thing I can see, that didn't get removed was this... see pic below, (in RED rectangle). I have current, very good backups. Can I just delete these two files?

    How can I remove this virus remnant?

    I was also going to suggest Autoruns.

    Check to make sure it isn't attaching itself to explorer. It should be the 3rd thing listed in Autoruns, the listing for the Shell. It should just be Explorer.exe. If it is anything else, that might be your problem.

    Remove account

    I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
    To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
